This piece was done on the lower backside of a actress. After working as a professional actress in New York for years, she gave it up and headed north with her family to focus on being a mother. Ten years later, she met with me to be painted. A few weeks after this painting was completed, she went for her first theater audition in years and got the part. Turned out the part required her to wear a mask throughout the play!
